Detroit youth-serving organizations this is for YOU! 💜

Applications are now open for Teen HYPE’s 2026-27 Promise to Heal Community of Practice, designed to help organizations strengthen healing, wellness, and thriving for both young people and the adults who serve them.

Selected organizations will receive resiliency building training, a 2-day healing retreat, $10,000 to put the work into action, wellness circles, workshops, and more! 🌱✨

This is more than professional development it’s an investment in your people, your practice, and your organization’s capacity to create spaces where healing can happen.

As our Senior Manager of In-School Initiatives, she helps create spaces where young people feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Introducing Teen HYPE’s newest series: Another Teen Doing the Right Thing! 💙✨

We’re kicking things off with Iyanna, a Cass Tech junior who continues to show what can happen when you stay focused, challenge yourself, and put in the work. From raising her GPA from a 3.8 to a 4.2, to taking college-level courses while working toward her associate’s degree, Iyanna is a scholar, dancer, coach, musician, and so much more. 📚🎶

This series is all about giving our young people their flowers and highlighting the many ways they’re doing the right thing every day.
