We are mourning the loss of beloved Corporal Donny W. Harris, who served with the department for more than 22 years before passing due to an illness. During his tenure, Cpl. Harris served as a Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) at our DPD 2nd Precinct and within our Special Victims Unit, helping victims of domestic violence.

Cpl. Harris left an indelible mark on members of our department and the community. Our condolences go out to his friends and family during this time.
