Have you ever wondered what happens after you make a gift?

Your generosity begins with what matters to you. Turning it into meaningful impact for Michigan’s young people takes thought, care and expertise.

Our team listens to understand what inspires you, carefully stewards the resources you entrust to us, and draws on a deep understanding of the needs facing children and the organizations working every day to address them.

Hear from Sean White, Alissa Novoselick, and Kelly Brittain about how we care for your generosity make a meaningful and lasting difference for our youngest Michiganders: https://ow.ly/Boq750ZFgRI

Our 2025 Annual Report is live!

Throughout the year, we took an important look at how the Children’s Foundation of Michigan can make an even greater, more lasting impact for kids across our state. By listening, learning, and refining our strategy, we’re sharpening our focus on what matters most: building lasting support for kids, strengthening the organizations that serve them, and connecting generosity with meaningful impact.

Our 2025 Annual Report reflects both the progress we’ve made and where we’re headed next. Because creating a stronger future for Michigan’s kids means continuing to evolve, working alongside our partners, and ensuring young people have what they need to thrive.

Explore the highlights, meet some of the donors and partners making this work possible, and see where we’re headed next in our 2025 Annual Report.

When students have the support they need outside the classroom, they're better able to succeed inside it.

This Chalkbeat Detroit story highlights how DPSCD's Health Hubs are helping address chronic absenteeism by connecting students and families with resources for housing, food, healthcare, and more. At the center of this work are Health Hub Navigators—trusted community health workers who help families navigate complex systems and access the support they need.

We are proud to support this innovative model because improving children's health means addressing the barriers that impact learning and well-being.

Since their launch in 2023, DPSCD’s Health Hubs have helped thousands of families and contributed to improving attendance for many students, according to the district.

Earlier this week, the Ally Jolie Baldwin Foundation presented a gift of more than $86,000 to support children and families at Children's Hospital of Michigan.

In memory of Ally Jolie Baldwin, half of the gift will strengthen the John G. Levy Child Life Endowment, ensuring future patients continue to receive the comfort, support, and compassionate care that meant so much to Ally during her treatment. The remaining half will advance the work of Dr. Savasan and the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, honoring the team that cared for Ally throughout her journey.

Through this generous gift, Ally's legacy will continue to bring hope, healing, and comfort to children and families for years to come.

Art is a way for young people to be seen, to be heard and to discover what they are capable of. Sometimes that is where healing begins.

Creative expression helps young people build confidence, find their voice, and form meaningful connections. It can also open the door to conversations that might otherwise feel impossible.

Through support of Teen HYPE's Youth Unmuted initiative, Detroit teens used poetry, storytelling, video, and performance to spark honest conversations about mental health among their peers.

When we support the arts, we give young people a way to tell their own story.

Yesterday, the second annual Kimble Tile Golf Outing brought together an incredible community united by one powerful purpose: helping more children and families access behavioral and mental health support.

What began as Rick and Kylie Kimble's search to find help for their son, Ricky, has grown into a mission to ensure other families don't have to navigate that journey alone.
