Today, SMPS represents a dynamic network of 6,000+ marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada. The Society and its chapters benefit from the support of 3,700 design and building firms, encompassing 80% of the Engineering News–Record Top 500 Design Firms and Top 400 Contractors. SMPS Colorado was founded in 1983, and is one of the Top 7 Chapters nationwide-representing more than 230 members. The chapter´s membership includes a mix of principals, business development officers and marketing managers that are focused on developing relationships and generating revenues for their companies. SMPS Colorado is a national not-for-profit association dedicated to enhancing its members' abilities to find and win business for their firms. The Colorado chapter offers events in Denver, Fort Collins and Colorado Springs areas including monthly luncheons and forums focused on every level of professional development.
