The ADSF Fall Fundraiser closes at midnight TONIGHT! Donate to the ADSF and support your local arts organization 🎨✨

Your contribution will help us support artists through the Emerging Artists Residency program, aid in daily operational and administrative costs, and pay our team.

After a busy and costly summer First Friday season, we're looking for community donations to continue our day to day through the end of the year.

Board member Lindsay Wright has over 20 years of experience blending design, storytelling, and business strategy with hospitality, sports, and entertainment. Lindsay believes that art and artists are the lifelines of community. By fostering and supporting them, we are investing in a creative biome that will continue to give life back to it's home.

Introduing ADSF Resident Artist Italu Ramos Hernandez 🎉✨

Italu is a multidisciplinary artist wrapping up their three month long residency in the Art District on Santa Fe. Italu explores prevalant themes through lived experiences of being an immigrant in the United States.

They hope to create works that showcase often unseen struggles, emotions, and celebrations of immigrant communities—as an ode to their own fellowship, but also as a wake-up call to those living on the outside.

Experience Italu's stories in person at the opening reception of "The In Between" this coming Friday evening. Don't miss it!

The ADSF is looking for visual artists to showcase their art in the Día de Mu***os procession on November First Friday! 💀🌺✨

From sculptors to costume-makers, textile artists to puppeteers, we are looking for existing artworks that speak to the themes of the Día de Mu***os and our neighborhood celebration.

The Día de Mu***os procession will take place on First Friday, November 6th from 7-8pm with set-up starting at 6pm for performers and artists.

ADSF Resident Artist Andrea Garcia is hosting a Paper Mache Workshop in the ADSF Studio ✂️🎨

Bring your paper mache ideas to life at a workshop led by resident artist Andrea Garcia of Loose Screws. Use discarded cardboard, newspaper, and glue to create paper mache sculptures, learn how to cut and manipulate cardboard using paper mache sculpting techniques, and make your own DIY paste.

The Art District on Santa Fe invites you to the opening reception of our Emerging Artists Residency class show, "The In Between!" 🎉✨

The In Between—a place where one is both present and away; the moment in between realities where things slip. A place without foundation, ungrounded from the world. A muddied place where things both are and are not true; are real and unreal. A world grounded only in uncertainty.

In this show, artists Andrea Garcia Neri, Italu Ramos Hernandez, and Morgan Sirota ventured into this other realm. Their work explores the power of shapes, silhouettes, and shadows on the
mind; the vitality of otherworldly bodies and growths; the undeniable presence of separation and barriers presented by legality.

Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community this coming Third Friday and congratulate the artists as they end their three-month long residency with the ADSF!

Morgan is a paper-mache sculptor working in the ADSF shared studio space. Morgan's work takes viewers to a whole other world—one where bodies, sensations, emotions, and non-human characteristics take form.

The Art District on Santa Fe's most cherished tradition is almost here—the annual Día de Mu***os First Friday celebration 💀🌺✨

The ADSF is now accepting submissions for the Community Photo Memorial. The memorial will be projected in the Art District (location TBD) during the First Friday event and on the Daniels & Fisher Tower in Downtown Denver. During the memorial, the public are encouraged to gather to remember and honor their past loved ones.

The Día de Mu***os Photo Memorial and projections is made in partnership with Night Lights Denver, Denver Theatre District, and Denverite.

Submissions will stay open through October 22nd, 2026.
