Congratulations to our Two Scholarship recipients from Westminster High School!

Laura Quiroz:

Was awarded the Tailwinds of Hope Scholarship on May 23, 2026, at the Annual Scholarship Program at Westminster High School!

Laura is the President of schools FCCLA chapter and member of school’s drone soccer team. In her spare time, she spends time volunteering at retirement homes, she also works 20 hours a week at Freddy’s.

Laura plans to attend the University of Colorado Boulder to study Aerospace Engineering. Welcome to the Tailwinds of Hope family and Good Luck in your studies!!

Yadhira Meneses:

Was awarded the Tailwinds of Hope Scholarship on May 23, 2026, as well at the Annual Scholarship Program at Westminster High School!

Yadhira was involved in Cyber Patriots this year was one of the most meaningful involvements in all the volunteering she does in the community to help with Cyber Security!

Yadhira plans to attend Metropolitan State University of Denver to study Cybersecurity!
