A win for Colorado's energy transition! ✅ The PUC has sent a clear message to Xcel that archaic gas infrastructure just isn't the way forward.

The decision signals Colorado regulators are no longer willing to approve major plans to expand or improve the fossil-fuel-based gas system.Utility regulators rejected much of Xcel's plan for investment in natural gas infrastructure due to projected dwindling usage of the fuel in the future.
