Seeing the numbers in this way makes it clear that there’s too much ozone pollution not only where we live and work but also where we go to enjoy the outdoors. The sad reality is that on many summer days, spending time outdoors can do more harm to your health than good. It doesn’t have to be this way: our air should be safer to breathe in the first place. So contact your elected officials and urge them to continue taking strong action to reduce ozone-forming pollution so we can make our air safer to breathe.

Ozone concentrations in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category are possible on Monday and Tuesday in the northern Colorado Front Range, including the Denver Metro area, Fort Collins, Greeley, and the surrounding areas. In the face of high gas prices here are some tips to cut how much gas you use. They will save you 💲💲 and reduce pollution, which is really important as we head into ozone air pollution season in Colorado.
1. Keep tires fully inflated.
2. Buy efficient tires
3. Consider switching to a hybrid or electric vehicle.
4. Look into replacing trips with biking or transit.

The ⏰ is ticking to reauthorize the Colorado Public Utilities Commission at the legislature. The PUC regulates for-profit utilities and is the 1st line of defense for consumers.
