Metro Chapter #157, OES

Friends of Metro Chapter, many of you will already be aware of this, but our Chapter has voted to give up our charter and affiliate with Areme Chapter. This is never an easy decision for a Chapter, but we had lengthy discussions and looked at our options and found this to be the best choice to help our members remain involved and active in the Order. Thank you to those who researched information and all who gave time and consideration to determine our best path forward.

The members of Areme have voted to welcome us with open arms, and we look forward to settling into that group. As they meet in our same building - and we have a number of members in common - it will be an easy adjustment and we hope will leave the group stronger going forward.

Metro Chapter was delighted to initiate a new member on Friday. Welcome, Kellie Lawson! We owe many thanks to the several grand officers who came to help us out - the initiation was beautiful, and the experience for our new member was made so much better by your beautiful work!

Metro Chapter #157 is proud of our Sister Cathe Markell, who is serving Grand Chapter this year as Grand Esther. In addition, she has placed her name in nomination for Associate Grand Conductress for the 2023-2024 Grand Chapter Year.
