Last week was a busy one for the MADD Colorado Victim Services Team! Since 1981, the third week in April has marked National Crime Victim Rights Week. During this time, we recognize the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement and reflect on how far we have come. As a result, Victim Services staff have been very busy supporting victims and the people who support them across the state. We have attended proclamations in the City of Loveland, the Town of Windsor, the Town of Johnstown, the City of Greeley, Weld County, the Town of Nunn, the Town of Eaton, and the Town of Platteville. We attended Larimer County Victims’ Rights Week Resource Fair, a Tree Planting Ceremony in Weld County, a Safety Fair in Grand Junction, a luncheon for victim service providers in the 21st Judicial District (Mesa County), an awards ceremony in the 17th Judicial District, a Denver Metro Ceremony at PorchLight Family Justice Center, a walk to honor victims in Castle Rock with the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, FBI Denver, and Castle Rock Police Department. We also attended the 1st Judicial District's Courage Walk at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Every day, we honor all victims and survivors whose lives have been impacted by violent crime. We support those who make a difference every day by supporting victims and making our roadways safer. , Greeley Police Department Weld County Sheriff's Office Eaton Colorado Police Department Grand Junction Police Department Colorado's 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Denver District Attorney's Office Douglas County Sheriff's Office , , ,
