Craig Morton served as the Denver Broncos’ primary starting quarterback from 1977 to 1982. At age 34, he revitalized his career in his first season with the team, leading the Broncos to a 12-2 record, their first-ever AFC West division title, and their inaugural playoff appearance and Super Bowl berth (Super Bowl XII). 
He earned NFL Comeback Player of the Year and AFC Offensive Player of the Year honors in 1977 while guiding Denver to back-to-back division titles in 1977–78 and three playoff berths overall.
He was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1988. Morton passed today at age 83. RIP!
