Thinking About Taking Improv?

Improv isn't just about being funny.

For adults, it's a chance to practice thinking on your feet, listening more closely, communicating more naturally, taking creative risks—and laughing with a really great group of people.

At Parker Players, you don't just take a class and move on. Our cohort system lets you build skills and friendships with the same group as you progress through Level 1–5.

You start by learning to play.

Then you discover just how much that changes the way you communicate, create, and connect.

More character choices = more choices onstage.

One of the biggest advantages an improviser can develop is a personal library of playable characters.

Instead of standing onstage thinking, “What character should I do?” you have voices, physicalities, attitudes, points of view and personalities you can reach for instantly.

That gives you more options—and more options mean more opportunities to surprise yourself, your scene partners, and the audience.

That's the idea behind Character Arsenal at Parker Players: build characters you can actually play, not just funny ideas you can describe.
