Hope Held by a Horse Hope Held by a Horse provides emotional support to cancer survivors, at any stage of diagnosis, through equine-assisted therapy.

Hope Held by a Horse empowers you to take time for your SELF, not just at our weekend program, but each and every day. Our program creates a solid foundation for your emotional recovery journey and empowers you to live your life fully and unapologetically. Come spend a magical day with horses, in the community of other women, and our highly skilled facilitators, to learn, grow, and heal in a safe and supportive environment. Hope Held by a Horse gives individuals the opportunity to reclaim a part of themselves that has been lost or diminished through the challenges of cancer. Our goal is to provide a place in which they can address fears and express emotional pain. The spiritual connection with horses helps them feel supported, centered, empowered, and able to continue on and thrive. Hope Held by a Horse is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Parker, Colorado. Hope Held by a Horse thrives with the help of dedicated facilitators, a wonderful Board of Directors, and numerous enthusiastic volunteers.

Golden hour light, crisp early-fall air, and the quiet magic that happens when humans and horses meet in stillness. 🍂🐴
Last weekend marked our second program of September, and the barn was filled with so much courage, openness, and gentle connection. There is an unspoken understanding that happens in the arena—a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, hold everything together, or carry the weight alone.
Watching our herd meet each participant right where they are never ceases to take our breath away. To everyone who joined us in the round pen, shared their stories, and leaned into the healing power of these incredible animals: thank you for trusting us with your journey. 🤍
Ready to experience the herd for yourself? Visit the link in our bio to learn more about our upcoming programs and how to get involved.
