Backline

Backline Backline’s core mission has always been to meet the mental health needs of the music community prior to the point of crisis.

Backline is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources

Built for the music industry, by the music industry. Through our online resources, case management program, and support group offerings, music industry professionals can seek help in a variety of ways; anonymously online, by scheduling a personal phone call and assessment with our team, and by attending one of our virtual support groups.

This June, we’re shining a light on the unique mental health challenges men face — and the barriers that can make seeking help feel especially hard. If this resonates with you or someone you know, Backline has clinicians in our network who specialize in working with men on these exact challenges. Mention it on a Case Management call and we’ll match you with the right provider for long term support, or call us at 855-BLINE99 for immediate assistance.

Today marks the official launch of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, and we’re grateful that its support is already helping power B-LINE, Backline’s 24/7 mental health and crisis support line for music industry families. Together, we’re helping ensure that music industry professionals have access to care, connection, and support whenever they need it. More than 300 people have already reached out through B-LINE, and that number tells us everything: the need is real, and so is the impact.

We’re also honored to serve as a grantee of the Foundation’s Heal & Dream Fund, which expands access to mental health care and community support, helping more people feel seen, understood, and able to heal. Ariana Grande and the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation share our commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of artists, band members, and crew. That shared mission is coming to life on the road, as they head out on tour with Backline’s support built in.

Pride is about showing up as your authentic self — and knowing you deserve support exactly as you are.

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and our commitment to making mental health and wellness resources more accessible for everyone.

At Backline, we know that care is not one size fits all. Everyone deserves access to support that affirms who they are, honors their unique experiences, and helps them thrive.

Because support belongs to everyone!
