Whitewater 101 began over 20 years ago. We have a simple mission: provide a safe, supportive environment to learn whitewater kayaking.

Our ladies paddling the Nantahala this past summer. Whitewater 101 is grateful to have such a strong team of female instructors, safety boaters, and students starting to gain their confidence on the water 💪🏼🌊

Don't sleep on this amazing opportunity!!! WW101 is teaming up with ACA Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Scott Brown Scott Brown next weekend! Join us on the Saluda here in Columbia SC Friday night through Sunday for an immersive weekend of rescue technique, management, and so much more.

Follow the link in our bio to grab your spot. We have limited availability! This is a perfect addition to your kayaking skills or the perfect opportunity if you're working towards a certification. Participants will receive a certificate of completion along with some crucial knowledge that you can apply on the river.

The post that no one asks for. The Summer 2026 edition of Show Us Your "Falls Face"!

Our class wrapped up their 6 weeks and took on the Nantahala as their grand finale. What better way to keep that type 2 fun alive than photos.

From looks of terror, determination, swimming, or just plain boredom. We got to see it all.
