During Supportive Housing Week 2026, supportive housing providers welcomed 21 policymakers to communities across the country for tours, ribbon cuttings, and community events.

The theme that shined throughout the week: supportive housing works.

Across 11 states and more than 12 supportive housing communities, local partners showed how supportive housing helps people find and keep stable homes while strengthening health, independence, and community connection.

One key takeaway: "when people have access to stable housing and the services they need, individuals and communities both benefit."
