Expunge Colorado had the privilege of tabling at the Fresh Start Warrant Forgiveness Event in Golden — connecting with community, sharing resources, and being part of something bigger than ourselves.
Events like these remind us why we do this work. Every conversation matters. Every person who walks through those doors deserves a fresh start — and we’re honored to be part of that journey.

📢 We need your voice.

We’re partnering with University of Pennsylvania to help recruit participants for a research study on Colorado’s Clean Slate Law, a new law implemented in 2024.

If you’re 18 or older and have had a Colorado court case—whether you know your case number or not—you may be eligible to participate. (Knowing your case number can be especially helpful when checking whether your case was sealed through the automated Clean Slate process.)

📝 The survey is available in English and Spanish, and your story truly matters.
Your experiences help:
✔️ Shape policy
✔️ Educate lawmakers
✔️ Show what’s working—and what isn’t—under Clean Slate

If your record should have been sealed but still creates barriers, this research is one way to make that visible.

📣 ATTN: Free Resource for Denver Residents that are parents or caregivers..

Expunge Colorado has partnered with DU to get the word out for their free parent/ caregivers support groups. This support program is free for Denver residents who have a 13-25 yr old with a mental health condition (example: ADHD, depression etc).

We understand that parents and caregivers need support in raising the next generation so we are amplifying this community resource and opportunity!

New groups start the end of January 2026.

Tell them that Expunge Colorado referred you.
