of Delaware County Ohio (PIN) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) social services agency dedicated to providing emergency assistance to Delaware County residents since 1981. Beginning as a small pantry in the basement of a local church, PIN today has grown to be the largest food pantry in Delaware County. In 2022, we provided our neighbors in need with 418,000 meals and assisted in Emergency Services wh

ich impacted 10,000 individuals. From Mortgage Assistance and Eviction Prevention to Utility Assistance and School Shoes, PIN’s programs are all aimed at helping our neighbors maintain a healthy, quality life during their time of need. The Holiday Clearing House in December has become a staple of the Delaware County community since its pre-PIN founding in 1954. Following astronomical growth in 2020, the program has welcomed 1,000 children every year with toys and gifts, winter coats, meals, and holiday cheer.

It’s time for the annual Delaware County Emergency Management Fans for Friends drive! Heat is the number one weather-related cause of illness and fatalities in the US each year, and your donation makes a difference.

Happy Friday, Delaware County! Monday officially begins the Delaware County Emergency Management Fans For Friends box fan drive to help Delaware County residents in need beat the heat this summer. Extreme heat is the #1 cause of weather-related deaths in the US each year. Working with our partners at People In Need, Inc. (PIN), we set a goal of 350 donated box fans to be distributed to Delaware County residents served by PIN. Last year, your generosity positively impacted 244 local families. A special shout-out to our donation collection partners at all of our fire departments, EMS stations, and public libraries in Delaware County, as well as at SourcePoint and PIN. Starting Monday, June 1st, and continuing through September 15th, you can drop off a new box fan at any of these locations. Please see the flyer for days/times. Our monthly Produce Market is this Wednesday! Come by Johnson Drive between 2 and 4:30 p.m. on May 27 for fresh fruit and vegetables.

Our regular Food Pantry will be open in the morning, but unavailable on Wednesday afternoon to accommodate the Produce Market. Please do not arrive before 1:45 p.m. to avoid traffic congestion on Johnson Drive, and follow signage for check-in.
