This week is National Mental Illness Awareness Week, a time to shine a light on the millions of people living with mental health conditions and to challenge the stigma that keeps people from seeking help.

Mental illness is common, treatable, and nothing to be ashamed of. Conditions like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD affect people from every walk of life, yet many still feel hesitant to talk about what they are going through.
