✨ Clothes for Kids Wraps Up Another Wonderful Year! ✨

Thanks to the generosity of our community, 284 local children received new clothing this year through the Clothes for Kids program! 💙

We’re so grateful to everyone who donated, shopped, and gave their time to make this effort a success. Your kindness continues to make a difference for families right here in Defiance County.

🇺🇸💛We are so grateful to the Defiance VFW Post 3360 for their generous $500 donation to the Clothes for Kids program!

Their support helps provide new shoes, clothing and essentials for students right here in Defiance County, giving local kids the confidence and comfort they deserve. 👚👕👖🥾

Congratulations Clothes For Kids - Defiance Area Foundation for receiving a $1,000 grant from the Keith Hubbard Family Fund, a Donor Advised Fund under our DAF umbrella. This grant will go directly toward shopping for new clothing, shoes, and essentials for local students, helping give them the confidence and comfort they deserve. 💛👟🧥

💛 A Legacy of Generosity in Action 💛

At Tuesday’s DAF Annual Meeting, we were honored to have both Clothes for Kids Founder, Sharon Farrell, and current Chair, Katie Groff, in attendance. ✨

What began with Sharon’s simple step of recognizing a need has grown tenfold, into a county-wide effort that now impacts hundreds of children in Defiance County each year. Her vision continues to inspire, and Katie’s leadership carries that legacy forward.

Clothes for Kids is proof that one person’s action can spark a movement of generosity that lasts for generations. 🌟

The Clothes for Kids 2025 season has officially kicked off, and we’re looking for shoppers to help make a difference for local students. Shoppers will be matched with student sizes and receive their assignments the last week of September. 👟👕🧥

👕✨ It’s officially time...Clothes for Kids 2025 is here! ✨👟

Since 2017, every fall, our community comes together to ensure local students have the clothing essentials they need: new shoes, outfits, and confidence to carry with them into the classroom. Last year, because of YOU, 297 students were served and $56,520 was poured back into Defiance County. 💙

Now we’re ready to do it again! 🙌
