Lisa is the inventor of the shower shirt that is included on our TNT (Tools Needed Through Transformation) bags. The shirt is used by women with breast cancer who has had a mastectomy. Lisa tells of her own breast cancer journey and in her book mentions Zonta Club of Defiance and our TNT bag. For every book sold, Lisa will be donating $1 back to our club. How many of you have heard of our TNT bags? Tools Needed Through Transformation for breast cancer patients.
Yesterday could not have been more meaningful to see something come full circle. Dropping off these healing bags at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital General Surgery.
Then getting a “thank you” from a recipient of a bag.

These bags are completely FREE and we ship anywhere in the United States!

Inside these are items like:

a shower shirt (for women that have a mastectomy), stocking cap or head scarf, 50 Days of Hope book, journal, coloring markers with adult coloring book, pens, socks, blanket, chapstick, stress ball, massage roller, journal, medical records holder, and seat belt cover.

Zonta showed up to finalize some landscaping for Pontiac Park last night. This club isn’t afraid to get in there and get the job done 💪🩷. The Zonta fountain is looking beautiful as well.

We're at it again! What better way to align with our mission of bettering the lives of women and children, than to start at the very beginning! This wonderful organization supplies diapers to local food pantries, such as St Paul's United Methodist, Catholic Food Pantry of Defiance, Zions Luthern Church and Hebron Ministries! Thank you for helping the community in such a wonderful way!

There is a diaper drive this Saturday at the Northtowne Mall! Feel free to stop

Zonta has been busy in the community. We love supporting individuals and organizations. The purpose so many have to make an impact in lives while telling their own story. One Step At A Time 5k Fun Run and Family Walk is just that story and impact. We are proud to support them with a $1,000 donation. Their run/walk will be held on September 26th at 9 a.m. at Defiance College. Head over to their page to register.

Day 2 of donations. We were thrilled to have CPC Women's Health Resource as the other recipient for our Boutique Bingo Fundraiser.

CPC offers services like free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, free baby items, STI/STD testing, counseling and pregnancy support.

Today, many members of the Zonta Boutique Bingo Committee met at Sarahs House, Defiance, to present the donation check from the boutique bingo fundraiser held April 24th.

Sarah’s House helps with domestic violence and victims assistance. We are so greatful for all they do and the community that came together to support the cause. 🩷💛

A great day for Zonta. New member Shannon Elling was inducted at the May meeting. Members participated in an Earth Day activity.

Zonta members, Laurie McCann, Staci Kauffman, Cyndi Ensign, Vivian Rettig, and Becky Michael help with preparation for the Defiance Lilac Festival.

Last night was a huge success! Over 280 women came together to support Community Pregnancy Centers of Northwest Ohio and Sarah’s House for Domestic Violence/ Victims Assistance. Thank you Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 372 for the use of the hall. Daisy and Grace for the amazing food. Gary Rodenberger for being our returning emcee. To our bartenders as well. Northwest Ohio continues to show up to support our causes. To make a better world for women and children. Thank you all! We will have totals as soon as available 🩷
