✨ Kicking off the 2026-2027 Leadership Defiance County Program! ✨

On Friday, our class had an exciting first day! We were first welcomed by Mayor Mike McCann 👋 before heading off for a surprise stop at the Black Swamp Area Council, Scouting America ⛺️, where we jumped right into team-building and getting to know each other!

Next, we explored local history at the Andrew L. Tuttle Memorial Museum 🏛️ and wrapped up the day with insights from Zeke Tracy at the Defiance Main Street and Visitors Bureau and a deep dive into all things Chamber of Commerce from our Executive Director, Sarah Tackett 💼.
