In case you haven't heard it through the grapevine, Lakota is celebrating its 75th year of camp this Summer!

Lakota 75 is a one-day homecoming designed to reconnect generations of staff and friends who created the magic of camp. The afternoon begins on-site at camp with tours, tailgating, and time to revisit the landmarks that hold decades of memories.

In the evening you can enjoy an event off-site at the Elks Lodge in Defiance for happy hour, dinner, and live music.

So if you are a friend of Lakota, alum, or have camped with us in the past, come out to reconnect, visit, and celebrate our beautiful camp! Grab your friends and old staff pals and join us July 11th!

The 2026 NYLT Staff is working to bring an impactful and enjoyable learning experience to the youth in our council. National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is for scouts who are at least 13 years old and achieved the rank of First Class.
