Fashion Group International is a worldwide membership organization of industry leaders in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and retail sectors with global headquarters in New York. The FGI mission is to provide our member network with a forum for discussion and connection across all sectors through programming focused on the industry’s most current and crucial topics, recognition of emerging talent and trends at the zeitgeist of innovation. To open access to industry leaders by offering a platform of resources for business development and career advancement at all levels. We believe that providing a forum for professional development and career advancement unleashes creativity, innovation and advances the business of fashion.

It's and today we are highlighting Lizzette Velazquez ❤️

We asked Lizzette to tell us about herself and here is what she said:

I am the Founder of Jellyfish Cosmetics, a Dallas-based beauty brand inspired by the ocean and created around confidence, femininity, and modern luxury. I launched Jellyfish Cosmetics in July 2026 with our debut lip gloss collection and am building the brand through e-commerce, social media, and community engagement. In addition to entrepreneurship, I have more than a decade of experience in the legal industry and hold an MBA in Strategic Management. I am also a signed model with experience in commercial, lifestyle, and creative projects.

I’m passionate about bringing together beauty, business, fashion, and purpose while creating opportunities that encourage women to feel confident, seen, and empowered.

Erin is the host of Good Morning Texas where she talks all things lifestyle, fashion, cooking, and events in the community we love so much!

You can tune in every weekday on channel 8 from 9am to 10am!

We asked Erin why she joined and here is what she said:
"I love fashion and discussing it. I want to move into a space where I'm doing more than just talking about the industry but contributing to it and this space gives me the opportunity to be around others who are doing the same thing!

The RUNWAY is more than a fashion week event; it is a curated platform where global visionaries converge to redefine the boundaries of luxury. We provide a stage for the most innovative designer collections, ensuring that every silhouette is met with the highest standard of editorial excellence.

Since our inception, we have been dedicated to showcasing the intersection of high fashion and architectural precision.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between creative intent and global impact, making Dallas a beacon of sophisticated design for the fashion industry.

In a nutshell- The Runway (Formerly Runway Dallas) is a fashion business holding fashion week events and designer showcases twice a year. Our goal is building connections locally and globally to in turn provide resources and platforms to help launch and develop talent in the fashion industry in our area.
