Community Partners of Dallas

Community Partners of Dallas Our mission is to provide what abused children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow.

History: Community Partners of Dallas was established in 1989 by a committed group of Dallas County individuals to determine how the community could support Child Protective Services. Over time, the mission of Community Partners was refined and became: The mission of Community Partners of Dallas is to ensure safety, restore dignity, and inspire hope for the abused and neglected children served by

Dallas County Child Protective Services. This is a unique mission, in that there is no other nonprofit agency in the Dallas County area that meets this need. As a result of its broad-based community support, Community Partners of Dallas was named the Outstanding Volunteer Organization of the Year by the Volunteer Center in Dallas in 2009. Community Partners of Dallas’ programs have been replicated across the state, and Rainbow Rooms and Adopt-A-Caseworker programs are currently underway in more than 155 cities in Texas.

Caseworkers stopped by our warehouse on Wednesday and Thursday this week to pick out special summer items for the children in their care. From bikes and sports equipment to board games and slime, every item was chosen with care to help make this summer extra special!

Thank you to our dedicated caseworkers for always going the extra mile to make our kids feel seen, valued and celebrated and to our incredible Partnership volunteers for helping make this distribution possible!

A huge thank you to Fidelity Investments for their incredible and ongoing impact!

As a dedicated Community Partners of Dallas partner for more than 30 years, their commitment to our mission continues to shine year after year. Last week their team assembled 288 pencil pouches and backpacks for our kiddos, created care kits for hardworking caseworkers and stuffed cuddly animals to bring comfort and smiles to the children we serve.

Partnerships like this speak volumes. They reflect not only generosity, but the lasting difference they make for children in need across Dallas County. We are grateful for your continued support!

We were so excited to host 33 young professionals yesterday to pack summer fun bags for the children we serve. Our yCPD group began the evening with a tour of our building, learning how we serve more than 20,000 children each year through our core programs. Bubbles, sidewalk chalk, sports equipment and slime may not be essential but they bring joy to summertime for kiddos that need it most! ☀️🛴🫧⚽️
