Ronald McDonald House Dallas Family Stays With approximately 78,000 square feet, the House offers 77 private bedrooms, six extended-stay suites, and six transplant apartments.

Additionally, the House contains multiple playrooms for kids of all ages and interests, a library, media room, craft room, chapel, meditation garden, and outdoor play areas. Two large communal kitchens and dining room provide opportunities for the families to share the evening meal, which is provided three times a day by community volunteers, or to prepare their own food if they choose. Hundreds of volunteers support Ronald McDonald House of Dallas’ (RMHD) annual operations and fundraising activities by serving families at the House, preparing meals, and hosting organized activities. Donations are always accepted from families, but no one has ever been turned away because of an inability to pay. The cost per night to house a family is approximately $130— a cost largely covered by individual and corporate donors, community organizations, and special events. The House’s location in the medical district is in close proximity to three major hospitals, serves all hospitals in the Dallas area, and draws children and families from across the country and the world. Since opening its doors, RMHD has served more than 40,000 families.

Our new brand is brighter, more colorful and full of energy—but what matters most hasn’t changed. We’re still the same House, the same caring community and the same team committed to providing comfort, care and a home away from home for families with children receiving medical treatment.

This new look reflects the warmth, hope and joy that fill our House every day—and the incredible families, volunteers, donors and friends who make our community so special.

This holiday season, giving back is as easy as visiting the Light the World Giving Machine! These special vending machines turn everyday giving into meaningful support by allowing you to purchase much-needed items for local and global nonprofits.

We’re excited that Ronald McDonald House Dallas is participating again this year! When you visit a Giving Machine, look for RMHD and select an item that directly supports the families who call our House home.

Next Tuesday, things are going to look a little different around here. You might notice a little more color, a fresh new look and something new that represents who we are and the families we serve.

We can’t reveal everything just yet, but we can tell you this: the heart of our House isn’t changing—just the way we show it.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honored to recognize The I Love Lynzee Project and the beautiful legacy of love they continue to share. 💛🎗️

After Lynzee passed away from cancer in 2014, her family found a meaningful way to honor her life by giving back to others. Since 2015, The I Love Lynzee Project has generously donated items to Ronald McDonald House Dallas, bringing comfort and care to the families who call our House home.

This month, Lynzee’s family continued that tradition with a special donation of blankets in her honor.

We are incredibly grateful to Lynzee’s family for continuing to share her legacy through kindness and generosity. Thank you for keeping Lynzee’s memory shining brightly and for wrapping our families in love, year after year. ❤️

Families like baby Grayson's.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Jeremy, Jessica, and their three children stayed at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta for over 60 nights while their son participated in a feeding therapy program nearby.

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
