🩺Thomas More University in collaboration with St. Elizabeth Healthcare is launching a Nursing Camp this summer!

Camp Dates: August 5th and 6th
Location: Thomas More University & St. Elizabeth Florence Campus
Eligibility: Incoming high school juniors and seniors who are at least 16 years old and interested in nursing

Participants will:
• Explore careers in nursing and healthcare
• Participate in hands-on nursing activities
• Become CPR certified
• Shadow in two areas at St. Elizabeth Florence Campus
• Interact with nursing faculty, nursing students, and healthcare professionals

Important Reminders: Vaccinations are required for participation. Camp shirts will be provided on day one and students will wear camp shirt and black pants on Thursday for shadowing. No leggings or athletic pants. Closed toe shoes are required.

Applications are due June 10th. You will receive notification from TMU nursing faculty of acceptance by July 1st.

We were honored to come together last week for Gateway to Greatness, celebrating the people and partners who are making a real difference for Gateway students and the future of Northern Kentucky.
This year, we recognized Individual Champion Chuck Session, Community Champion Learning Grove and Outstanding Alumnus Brian Watkins. Their commitment to education and to this region is inspiring and a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community invests in its people.
Drees Pavillion was packed and full of energy and shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to believe in Gateway students.

This morning we convened our final College & Career Coach/Counselor Network meeting of the school year at Gateway Community & Technical College’s Boone campus.
We were joined by 3 business partners- Keith Lawrence from the Dan Beard Council speaking about their new Skilled Trades Education Center, Jessica Warner from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, and CJ Grote & Matt Crowe from TANK (Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky). Our next meeting is September 8th.
