A big thank you to all of our volunteers who came out for Village Connections’ Spring Yard Clean-Up! Your time and energy helped make a real difference; clearing pathways, picking up branches, and making outdoor spaces safer and easier for our members to navigate.

A special shout-out to the families and students from who jumped in to help. We’re so grateful for your teamwork and willingness to serve alongside us!

A great morning at coffee meet up! We were joined by a guest from the German, Village Garten Club, who shared tips on choosing, arranging, and caring for potted plants.
Members and volunteers then got hands-on creating their own beautiful planet arrangement to take home. A fun morning, full learning, creativity, and good conversation.

For years, our community has come together for Village Connections Yard Clean-Up Day, proving that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. In just a couple of hours, volunteers help create safer pathways, clear branches, and make outdoor spaces easier for neighbors to navigate and enjoy.

It’s more than yard work; it’s neighbors helping neighbors, sharing laughter, pizza, and time together. When everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot, and the difference it makes is something you can truly see and feel.

We had a wonderful visit at the Franklin Park Conservatory today. We spent the morning enjoying the beautiful flowers and exploring the stunning Chihuly glass art throughout the gardens. It was the perfect mix of color and fresh air. We wrapped up our time together with a relaxed lunch, sharing good food and even better company. Such a lovely day!
