Now, for the first time, the full story will be told.

“The Last Guardian of Ashanti” is a memoir of sacrifice, resilience, and the unbreakable bond between a people and their land. From the courtrooms of Ghana’s Ashanti Region to the halls of the United Nations in New York — this is the chronicle of a journey that is far from over.

🌍 Our new website is live.

What began as a community advocacy movement in 2019 is now a formally established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization — and we are just getting started.

For over 6 years, we have stood with Indigenous and rural communities in Ghana’s Ashanti Region, fighting fraud, exploitation, and unlawful land dispossession in the courts, in communities, and at the United Nations.

Now, we have a new home online where you can follow our cases, learn about our work, and join the fight.

However, many people mistakenly believe all land is “Stool Land.” This is incorrect and leads to illegal sales. It is vital to understand the difference between Stool Land and Family Land.

I believe the resilience of Indigenous youth is our strongest defense for the future of their lands. Training them to become land defenders isn't just education—it's a movement to protect identity, heritage, and justice.

I've seen how hidden legal barriers keep Indigenous communities from owning their ancestral lands. These walls aren't just legal—they erase identity and heritage. We must expose and dismantle them to reclaim justice and land rights.

Over 370 million Indigenous people worldwide depend on ancestral lands for identity and survival. International law is key to protecting these territories from exploitation and displacement. Justice starts with recognition and action.
