Founded in 1969, the Student Bar Association is the student government organization at Capital University Law School. SBA is governed by a Governing Board made up of officers and representatives from each class in the full-time and part-time divisions elected annually. SBA also has Student Members serving on various committees to help further SBA's mission. SBA is an active partner in governing th

e school and setting school policy. SBA's mission is to foster communication and cooperation between the Law School administration, faculty, staff, students, alumni, the student division of the American Bar Association, and the state and local bar associations. SBA works to promote and encourage professional excellence in the study of law, and works with school administration and faculty to strengthen academic achievement through advancements in legal education, and strives to promote and protect the interests of all students enrolled in the Law School.

The Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Program is back!
Applications are now open to be mentors and mentees. Check your emails for the link to fill out to become a mentor or mentee!

MENTOR APPLICATION:
If you are a 2L, 3L, or 4L please apply to be a mentor to pass on your knowledge and advice to the next generation of students! It should take no more than 5 minutes to fill out, and SBA will reach out with next steps.

MENTEE APPLICATION:
If you are an incoming 1L, welcome to law school! We hope you are excited and participate in this program to be matched with an older student who can serve as your peer mentor! Be sure to be as detailed as possible so we have the best information possible on matching you!

Join your fellow Cap Law classmates for an evening of fun, conversation, and connection as we celebrate the start of the semester! See you there!
