❤️ Today is World Heart Day.

Taking care of your heart can mean many things—from staying active and making heart-healthy food choices to knowing your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers and taking medications as prescribed.

But managing heart health can become much harder when cost stands between a patient and the medication they need.

At Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, we believe access to essential medications is an important part of helping our neighbors manage chronic conditions and protect their health.

This World Heart Day, we're reminding our community to know your numbers, know your medications and stay connected to your healthcare team.

Because every heart deserves the opportunity to be a healthier one. ❤️

💊💙 Happy World Pharmacists Day!

Today we're proud to celebrate AnnMarie and Blake, the pharmacists helping bring our mission to life every day.

At Charitable Pharmacy, pharmacists do much more than dispense medications. They educate, answer questions, help patients understand their treatment, identify medication concerns and provide the support that helps our neighbors manage their health with confidence.

Most importantly, they see the person behind every prescription.

We're grateful for the knowledge, compassion and commitment AnnMarie and Blake bring to our patients and our community.

Help us celebrate them today! Leave a 💙 or a message of appreciation in the comments.

💙 You asked. We listened. And yes… BLAKE IS BACK! 💊

Many of our Linden patients remember Blake—and we've continued to hear one question since he left:

“Where's Blake?”

We're very happy to officially share that Blake has returned to Charitable Pharmacy!

Blake has long been a familiar and beloved face to many of our patients, and we're excited to have his knowledge, personality and commitment to serving our community back on the pharmacy team.

His return also gives us one more reason to celebrate as we count down to World Pharmacists Day on September 25.

If you remember Blake from Linden, help us welcome him back in the comments! 👋💙

💙 Meet AnnMarie, our Pharmacy Manager!

As we count down to World Pharmacists Day on September 25, we're celebrating the pharmacists behind our mission and the expertise, compassion and care they bring to our patients every day.

AnnMarie first experienced the pharmacy profession while participating in a high school program—and that early experience helped her discover the career she wanted to pursue.

Today, she helps lead our pharmacy team in providing more than prescriptions. From medication education and patient support to helping our neighbors navigate barriers to care, pharmacists are an essential part of the Health. Hope. Sanctuary. we strive to provide.

💊 Stay tuned as we continue celebrating our pharmacy team!

When you think of a pharmacist, filling prescriptions may be the first thing that comes to mind—but their role goes much further. 💙

Pharmacists are medication experts and an important part of your healthcare team. They help patients understand their medications, use them safely, navigate potential side effects and stay on track with treatment.

At Charitable Pharmacy, our pharmacists combine that expertise with our mission to help patients overcome barriers to medication access.

As we approach World Pharmacists Day on September 25, we're celebrating the important role pharmacists play in helping our communities live healthier lives.

📅 Looking for an appointment? Our calendar is NOT booked for the year!

We've heard from patients who are concerned that seeing no available appointments means Charitable Pharmacy is booked for the remainder of the year. That's not the case.

Our scheduling calendar releases appointments on a rolling two-week basis. Because demand for our services is high, available appointments can fill quickly and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We understand that checking the calendar and not finding an available appointment can be frustrating. We truly want to serve everyone who needs our help, and our team is working to serve as many patients as possible.

💙 If you don't see an appointment available, please continue checking our online calendar for newly released openings.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to connect our community with the medications and pharmacy services they need.

September is National Cholesterol Education Month! ❤️

High cholesterol can increase your risk for heart disease and stroke—and it often has no symptoms. That's why knowing your numbers and building heart-healthy habits matter.

Eating a heart-healthy diet, staying active, avoiding smoking, managing stress and taking medications as prescribed can all play a role in managing cholesterol.

Already taking medication for high cholesterol? Your pharmacist is part of your healthcare team. Ask questions and make sure you understand how and when to take your medications.

At Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, we're committed to helping our neighbors access the medications and pharmacy support they need to manage their health.

September is Healthy Aging Month! 💙

Healthy aging is about more than staying active—it also means having the support and resources needed to manage your health.

As we age, medications can become an important part of managing chronic conditions and maintaining quality of life. A few simple habits can help:

Keep an up-to-date list of your medications.
Take medications as prescribed.
Ask your pharmacist about side effects or possible interactions.
Talk with your healthcare team before stopping or changing a medication.
Speak up if the cost of your prescriptions is keeping you from taking them as prescribed.

At Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, we believe everyone deserves access to the medications and pharmacy support they need to live healthier lives.

Health. Hope. Sanctuary. 💙
