Today, we honor Harvey Milk, a trailblazer whose courage and advocacy transformed the fight for LGBTQ+ equality and inspired generations to speak openly, organize boldly, and demand justice.

Harvey Milk believed visibility matters. He understood that progress happens when people refuse to stay silent in the face of discrimination and fear. His legacy continues to remind us that community, compassion, and activism can create lasting change.

Gabe is a founding member of Ohio Northern University’s chapter of the Secular Student Alliance (SSA).
