The South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is saddened to learn of the passing of Master Deputy Michael Hirtle, of the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office SC. He passed away on May 10th.

A familiar face at many Torch Run fundraising events, including the Polar Plunge and Cops on the Coop, he will sorely be missed.

Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues and all those who had the privilege to know him.

Help support the memorial fund for Officer Don “DJ” Keller of the Greenwood Police Department. Officer Keller was killed in the line of duty during a police pursuit while protecting his community.

He leaves behind his wife, Alison, and their two-year-old daughter. This fundraiser will help provide financial support for immediate expenses and future needs during this heartbreaking time.

Serve & Connect is proud to partner with the South Carolina Police Chiefs Association, South Carolina Troopers Association, South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, South Carolina Sheriffs' Association, South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police, and the Greenwood Police Department to raise funds for Officer Keller’s family.
