Register now for the 2026 Quarterly Training & Business Meeting!

When: Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 5:00-8:30 P.M.
Where: Staybridge Suites, 150 Westpark Drive, Florence, SC 29501

Participants will learn to establish a strong, scalable command presence from the first arriving unit, even when that unit consists of only one or two firefighters. The program combines incident command and control with first-due tactical decision-making, helping firefighters determine what must happen first, how to prioritize competing fireground functions, and how to effectively use the personnel and resources available.

From morning physical training sessions to mealtime, the Fire Officer Academy: The Company Officer is designed to uplift, test, and challenge leaders of the South Carolina fire service.

The NVFC is excited to partner with The AES Corporation to launch the AES Safer Tomorrow Fund.
