We’re excited to share that Local Cinema Studios has selected let me be the thing you need as part of our Summer 2026 productions 🎬

The debut feature from South Carolina filmmaker Cole Stamm, the film is an intimate character study set on a rural family farm in South Carolina — exploring longing, dependency, and the complicated ways people try to care for one another.

Filming will take place in Fountain Inn, continuing to showcase the incredible talent, locations, and creative community growing across South Carolina’s film industry.

“Stories about blue collar life. It’s messy and not always a happy ending, but speaks to real life situations,” says producer Stephanie Franklin.

Come spend a day on set with us! We are looking for background actors to be part of a local TV Pilot! The time commitment for background actors is usually no more than a few hours, up to a whole day. We are shooting in and around Columbia, SC. The production will need extras on various days throughout shooting. Please fill out the form below to be notified about available dates.
