The Central SC Alliance was honored to host H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United States, and his delegation during their visit to South Carolina. The conversation focused on strengthening trade relations between the U.S. and Thailand and identifying opportunities to expand Ag and Aerospace exports from South Carolina. The central region of South Carolina plays an important role in these efforts, with a strong agricultural network and logistics connectivity that helps move products from farm to global markets.

We were grateful to have Norris Thigpen with the South Carolina Department of Agriculture and Laura L McKinney from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce join the discussion and highlight the collaboration that supports trade and agribusiness across our region.

With a stunning view as the backdrop for our Investor Meeting and the Committee of 100's Networking Reception, we enjoyed our time as a reminder of what strong partnerships can accomplish and the even bigger opportunities still ahead for our region.

We were honored to gather with investors at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina for an evening focused on both reflection and forward momentum.

Grateful to stand alongside leaders who continue to invest their time, resources, and belief in Central South Carolina.
