Earlier this month, Parents Challenge had the opportunity to attend the National School Choice Awareness Foundation Summit in California, joining education leaders and advocates from across the country who are working to expand opportunities for families.

One of the highlights was celebrating leaders making an impact in school choice. Robert Enlow, President and CEO of EdChoice, received the Virginia Walden Ford Parent Empowerment Award for his decades of work supporting parents and expanding educational opportunity. Black Alabamians for Education was named Organization of the Year for its work empowering families to navigate the K–12 education system, while Cheryl Tusken of the Frontier Institute was recognized as Partner of the Year for helping Montana families understand and navigate their educational options.

We loved celebrating people and organizations who share a belief that is central to Parents Challenge: parents deserve the information, resources, and support to find the right educational environment for their children.

We’re back home inspired, connected, and excited to keep doing that work in our own communities!

With funding of up to the full cost of college attendance, this scholarship can open doors to higher education and a future filled with possibilities.

Over the years, Parents Challenge has proudly celebrated multiple students who have been named Daniels Scholars and finalists. We've seen firsthand the determination, hard work, and potential these young leaders bring to their futures, and we couldn't be prouder!

The Digital Boy 1.0: Ensuring 7 Milestones of Male Development in the Digital Age will explore how parents can approach technology throughout their sons’ early development, with a focus on ages birth through 13.

Teller County – Helping Youth Succeed: Education, Resources, and Family Support Services will connect families with free services and resources available through TESSA of Colorado while covering topics including online threats, teen dating violence, sextortion, resilience, and becoming a trusted adult for young people.
