They assassinated the most peaceful among us!
I’ve been thinking, as people have asked since Charlie Kirk’s assassination: “Who will replace him?”
My final answer is this — we all will. We all must stand up for healthy debate, for freedom, for truth, for the Rule of Law, and for the American way. Not the “white” way, or the “black” way, or the “Hispanic” way — but the American way. Who we are, and who we can be.
We seem so divided right now by a screeching leftist minority.
But we outnumber them 100 to 1.
We come from every corner of our great country.
We just want a few simple things in our lives as we go to work, pay our bills, and abide by the law:
A safe and free country
The ability to move about with safety for ourselves and our families
The freedom to express our ideas
And the confidence that when we leave this earth, our children will have it better than we did
Right now, these wants and desires feel out of reach as those with the loudest soapboxes threaten our simple dreams.
Many of the heroes I served with gave the ultimate sacrifice in other countries to provide these same freedoms for their people.
We must now peacefully stand up — not be silent or meek, but be BOLD — now more than ever.
Not for Charlie.
Not for me.
But for Charlie’s daughters.
For my five children.
For my nephews.
For your children, and your children’s children.
We are better than the violent leftist minority — and that scares them to death.
Let’s be BOLD.
