Throughout the conference, patients and caregivers shared their journeys through diagnosis, treatments, setbacks, victories, and everything in between. These conversations reminded us that while every ITP experience is different, we are stronger when we share what we've learned.

We come for the latest ITP insights.
We leave with connection, support, and hope.
That's the power of a PDSA ITP Conference. 💜

PDSA members can hear firsthand from patients whose experiences continue to inspire our community and remind us that we are never alone on the ITP journey starting Sept 1st on the virtual conference platform.

Questions in ITP care today were front and center at this year's PDSA ITP Conference.

🩸 New ASH ITP Guidelines: How do they impact my care?
Presented by Dr. Sandhya Panch, this session explored the latest guideline recommendations and what they may mean for treatment decisions, monitoring, and patient care. Updated ITP guidelines are expected to be published later this year!

🧬 When It's Not ITP: Testing and Genetics
Presented by Dr. Michele Lambert, attendees learned about the role of genetic testing and diagnostic evaluation, and why identifying the correct diagnosis is critical to achieving the best outcomes.

🚨 Guideline on the Emergency Management of Critical Bleeding
Presented by Dr. Rachael Grace, this session reviewed current recommendations for recognizing and managing serious bleeding events and the importance of timely intervention.

As research continues to advance, sessions like these help patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals stay informed about the latest developments in the diagnosis and management of ITP.

🎥 Beginning September 1, PDSA members will have the opportunity to hear directly from the experts and learn valuable insights. Be sure to sign-up or renew your membership at pdsa.org so you don't miss out on these sessions.

As summer winds down and routines begin to shift again, it’s easy to feel pressure to “get back into gear.” But when you’re living with ITP or any chronic condition, this time of year can bring its own kind of heaviness whether fitting in family time, getting the kids ready for school, or taking on the heat of summer.

You don’t have to feel strong or energized just because the season is changing. It’s enough to listen to your body, move at your own pace, and care for yourself in the ways you’re able.

This is a reminder that you’re not alone. The PDSA community is here for you at pdsa.org.
