Established to encourage new ideas and a free exchange of thought, the City Club is one of the oldest continuous free speech forums in the country, renowned for its tradition of debate and discussion. The City Club firmly believes in the free expression of all ideas and the benefits of an open exchange. All speakers must answer unfiltered, unrehearsed questions directly from the audience. Since ou

r founding, the City Club has welcomed members of all races and religions, and our strength today is reflected in the rich texture of our membership. City Club members are drawn from all walks of life and ways of thinking. Yet all believe in the rewards that free speech can bring to the intellect and to the community. The strength of our membership is its diversity and commitment to free speech. Our vision is of strong, informed individuals and communities that prize freedom of speech and civil, civic dialogue.

Downtown Cleveland, Inc. and the City of Cleveland want to hear from you about your grocery and food needs in downtown Cleveland. 🛒

Your feedback will help shape efforts to attract and support future grocery and food options that meet the community’s needs. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Please share your feedback at the following link by August 28th.

Cleveland Book Fest is kicking off this Sunday, 8/30 to begin a month-long celebration of literature!

The ground floor of The Arcade will be transformed into the inaugural Cleveland Book Fest book fair, presented by Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards and featuring 20 + bookstores and literary partners. Get ready to shop for books, book-related merch, and learn more about literary programs happening across the city throughout the month of September.

This free event is open to book lovers of all ages!
