Dominic has been a student at Monarch Center for Autism for many years. He began in our Lower School, then transitioned into our Middle School, and just graduated from our Transition Education Program. It has been an honor watching him grow into the incredible young man he is today. Dominic will be attending the Tri-C Culinary Program in the fall. We wish him the best of luck and hope he’ll keep in touch. He will be very missed!

This school year, Monarch Center for Autism students Dominic and Makayla, have been volunteering for the Lake County Council on Aging's Nutrition Site located within the Wickliffe Senior Center facility. They work alongside other volunteers in the kitchen cleaning, organizing, plating food, and serving lunch. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month in April, seniors attending lunch listened to a presentation on autism. Dominic and Makayla joined in by talking about their experience at Monarch and their goals for the future. We're so proud of Dominic and Makayla for how well they spoke in front of the large group and how hard they've worked at the Nutrition Site!
