This past Friday, Lifeworks Autism Services hosted our first ever dance – THE Summer Social — and the event was everything we hoped for! Joyful, energetic, and FULL of connection. Our individuals danced the night away with the BEST DJ, showing off their best moves and filling the room with laughter and confidence. The vibe was pure summer magic.

Meanwhile, our incredible summer interns kept the Dirty Soda Bar buzzing and the photo booth popping all evening. They mixed creative flavors, cheered people on as they tried new combos, and made the space feel welcoming and fun. Their enthusiasm helped make the night unforgettable.

Events like this remind us why community matters — shared joy, shared music, shared moments. 💙 Thank you to everyone who came out, danced with us, and helped make this summer celebration shine. We can’t WAIT until the next one!

Last week, Lifeworks Autism Services had the opportunity to host Autism Speaks - Northeast Ohio for their 1st Greater Cleveland Service Provider Brunch.

We had a morning of connection and collaboration, with discussion centering on how organizations can work together to better serve individuals with autism and their families in our region.

We’re excited to continue bringing this group together — and to welcome even more providers into the conversation — as we build a stronger, more connected network of support across Northeast Ohio.

This is just the beginning of what we can accomplish together.

We’re excited to share that our ABA clinic currently has morning and afternoon ABA openings — with several morning spots available for families who prefer early day sessions. Our team provides individualized, play based ABA support to help children build communication, independence, and confidence.

⚾ The Lifeworks crew had a grand slam of a time last night! ⚾

We spent Disability Pride Night cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, soaking up the sunshine, the stadium energy, and every moment of the game. The smiles, the laughter, the matching Guardians gear — it all came together for a night that felt truly special.

Nights like these remind us how powerful inclusion, community, and joy can be when shared together. We’re so proud of everyone who came out and made it such a memorable outing. 💙

Individuals in Supported Living Services had an amazing time at Shaker Heights Parks and Recreation Department ‘s Thornton Park Pool during our Summer Outing Week! The lazy river was a huge hit, the slide brought endless smiles, and swimming with our incredible summer interns and staff made the day even better.

We love seeing everyone enjoying the sunshine, building friendships, and making memories together. 💙 Here’s to more summer fun ahead! 🌊😎

Independence Day is here and the Milestones team knows how much excitement – and sensory challenges – the holiday can bring. Fireworks are bright, loud, and unpredictable, which can feel overwhelming for many adults and children with sensory needs.

To support our community, we’re sharing a simple one page Social Story for Fireworks and the 4th of July that individuals and their families can use to prepare for the fun this weekend.
