NEW ROUTES FOR 2026! If you haven’t heard, this year’s Butte County Gravel Grind courses have changed, and they’re better than ever. No, seriously!

The Long (63 miles / 6,900’) and Medium (47 miles / 4,600’) courses are all-new for 2026, built around the freshly constructed Escape Trail and Colby Mountain Lookout Trail. This is singletrack that didn’t exist until recently — part of the Colby Mountain Recreation Area Project that Chico Velo Trailworks has been building out over the past few years.
If you’ve been watching the trail progress and waiting for a reason to ride it — this is it!!

We’re gearing up for the 3rd annual Butte County Gravel Grind in beautiful Butte Meadows & Jonesville, CA - a fundraiser for the Colby Mtn Recreation Project. Three courses to choose from: long and medium courses are timed with categories and prizes and a short course option that is not timed- enjoy the ride! With the holiday weekend and the upcoming summer season fast approaching, we want to remind everyone to PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY and recreate responsibly when visiting Colby Mountain Trails.

If you are utilizing the Jonesville Snowmobile Park for parking, please be mindful not to block in any trucks with trailers.

Let’s enjoy the trails and respect the local Butte Meadows and Jonesville Communities!

We're excited to welcome the Chico Cocktail Week tonight for their first-ever Last Wheel Standing event, starting at 5 PM.

Think a little Chico chaos meets Bike Party energy. Ten pixie bikes. Ten riders. Racing for the honor of their bar around The Commons back patio expansion. 🤪🚲
