Anti-Militarism Volunteer Opportunity!

On March 31st, Chico High School will be having ASVAP testing (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) to recruit youth into the military. Come leaflet on March 4th for some anti-militarism activism by handing out informational pamphlets to students and parents at Chico High School to inform them of the truths about military recruitment of youth and the available alternatives.

Our Community Garden is asking for donations!
We are excited our garden is coming back to life and we are eager to use this beautiful space for community outreach. Although we do need your help obtaining some tools.
Here is a list of needed supplies:

❀ Branch clippers
❀ Yard waste bags
❀ Gardening gloves (vegan)
❀ Knee pads
❀ Sunscreen (cruelty free)
❀ Wide brim hats
❀ Wheel barrow
❀ 5-foot poles
❀ Twine
❀ Rice straw

Please bring to our location Tuesday-Friday from 12-5pm. Any other gardening supplies may be welcomed as well! Just contact us about it. We are greatly appreciative!

Another way to give back is donating your time every Friday (today) at CPJC from 3-5pm to garden with us! Thank you for helping our roots grow.
