“My alcohol had become my water.”
Co***ne. Lust. Alcohol. Brokenness. Destitution.
What began as escape slowly became bo***ge — until everything collapsed.

In this powerful testimony, John shares how years of addiction and chasing the world left him empty, exhausted, and on his knees. But at the lowest point of his life, God met him with something he never expected: grace.

This is a story of rescue, repentance, restoration, and the mercy of Jesus Christ. A reminder that no life is too far gone, no pit too deep, and no heart beyond redemption.

A Prayer for Moms

Father,

Today we thank You for the women who have shaped our lives — our wives, our mothers, and our grandmothers. For the women who carried us, raised us, prayed for us, corrected us, encouraged us, and stood beside us through every season of life.

Thank You for the mothers who carry burdens most people never see. For the ones who rise early, stay up late, pray quietly, sacrifice daily, and keep showing up when nobody applauds.

Your Word says, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Lord, strengthen the moms who are weary.

Steady the ones carrying fear, anxiety, and heavy responsibility. Give them patience when the days are long, courage when the road is uncertain, and peace that only comes from You.

Protect their homes.
Protect their hearts.
Help them know the work they do matters — even when it feels unnoticed.

For the single moms fighting battles alone, be their provider and defender. For the grieving moms, be near to the brokenhearted. For our aging moms and grandmothers, let them see the fruit of years spent loving, serving, sacrificing, and praying for their families.

We echo the words of Solomon: “Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Today, we declare that our mothers are blessed, and we ask for Your continual favor, strength, and blessing upon their lives — both now and for all eternity.

And above all, point every mother toward Christ — the only perfect Savior, steady foundation, and lasting hope.

Amen.

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. - 1 Corinthians 3:10-11
