Every smiling face is a student who got the time, encouragement, and structured literacy instruction they needed to grow as a reader.

This past school year, that was 879 young readers across Charlotte, each with a patient ALP Tutor, in-person or remote. Reading stopped being the hardest part of the day and started to feel like a win.

Next year? We’re aiming higher: 1,400 readers!
