We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Child Abuse Prevention Center (governed by the TOJ Foundation, Inc.). Due to the overwhelming response to our call for action we can open our free standing facilities by Aug 19th, 2014 with your help. What will happen at Payton's Promise? Prevention and Awareness programs to address the following:
Child Sexual Abuse, Bullying (including Cyber), and Physical Abuse
Free Volunteer Screening Program: Let’s face it. People are not always truthful about their past! Most organizations who have volunteers working with children either don’t know how or can't afford to do background checks and we all know the devastating consequences of this. How many times have you volunteered for an organization with children? Did you go through a s*x offender screening? Extracurricular Scholarships- Victims and their siblings will be eligible for this program. We support everything from the Arts to Athletics. Parent/Teacher Training Programs (What are the signs of abuse? Is she a perpetrator? What can I do?)
We seek to equip our community with tools to battle these tragic occurrences and to provide education and awareness to prevent abuse from happening to more children. If you could do something about child abuse would you?
