Come join us on Sunday, September 8 at 5:30pm at First United Methodist Church Charlotte with rising star artist and Davidson, NC native, Clara Gerdes, as she performs the 52nd anniversary concert, sponsored by the Kathryn Stephenson Pipe Organ Endowment Foundation.

Works include the Organ Sonata in G Major, Op. 28 by Elgar, Paean by Howells, Gershwinesca by Hakim, and two of her own orchestral transcriptions, the Divertissement from Trois Danses by Duruflé and the always-popular Claire de Lune of Debussy.

A light reception in the narthex will follow the program. The concert is free, with a love offering to support the continued work of the foundation.

501 N. Tryon Street, free parking at 525 N. Tryon; take the elevator to the sanctuary.
