At The Boost Pad, we believe meaningful partnerships help create more opportunities for entrepreneurs. Through our Strategic Partner Network, we collaborate with organizations to connect founders with resources, talent, and support that can help their business grow.

Here are three partnership actions we had recently.

1. Connecting Founders with Emerging Talent
- The Boost Pad and UNC Charlotte brought together 12 Boost Pad alumni businesses and UNC Charlotte LEADS students to explore potential internship opportunities. We're excited to see connections between entrepreneurs and emerging talent take shape.

2. Listening to Small Businesses
- Through our collaboration with Apparo, we hosted a technology needs session to hear directly from small business owners about their technology needs. Listening to entrepreneurs is an important step toward understanding the support and resources they need.

3. Creating Conversations Around Capital
- Access to capital can be an important part of the entrepreneurial journey. Through Community Access to Capital, The Boost Pad partnered with Do Greater Charlotte Foundation, with support from Ally and the NC IDEA Foundation, to help turn conversations into opportunities for entrepreneurs.

What happens when founders and students get in the same room? New possibilities.

On September 3, The Boost Pad partnered with UNC Charlotte to bring 12 companies from our alumni network together with UNC Charlotte LEADS students for the Student Intern Program Meet & Greet at Klein Hall.

Instead of a traditional pitch session, the evening was about real conversations. Students had the opportunity to learn about the businesses, while founders got to know the students, their interests, strengths, and what they could bring to a growing company.

By the end of the evening, founders had the opportunity to identify students they would like to work with turning introductions into the first steps toward meaningful internship partnerships.

This collaboration is also a great example of what our Strategic Partner Network is designed to create: connections that open doors for founders, students, alumni, and the broader Charlotte entrepreneurial community.

We’re grateful to UNC Charlotte, the LEADS students, our 12 participating alumni founders, and everyone who helped bring this opportunity to life.
