Trusted Parents is an all inclusive 501(c)3 non profit organization that focuses on the well-being of parents and caregivers of children and adults with special healthcare needs. Our mission is to empower a special community of parents and caregivers with support, services, awareness, and assistance that will help enhance their lives and the lifestyle of their loved ones living with disabilities.
We provide programs that offer group support, awareness, assistance, and referrals. The purpose of our programs is to gather and share important information needed to improve the lives of families living with the challenges associated with disabilities. Our goal is to offer supportive services to parents and caregivers while raising awareness to the devastating affects raising a child with disabilities has on families. Our services are developed to help provide emotional relief to our participants as they go through the difficult journey of coping with the daunting tasks related to caring for children and individuals with disabilities. We are committed to providing emotional and spiritual support as we seek to equip parents with the necessary tools needed to open the doors to a future of possible independence and prosperity for their loved ones. We participate in community events, workshops, and activities centered on issues connected to families affected by disabilities. We are currently participating in collaborative partnerships that will help us make a difference in our community through providing educational and empowerment opportunities. Our Values:
Integrity: We remain true to our mission to serve and work hard to provide exceptional service to our parents and caregivers. Collaboration: We believe that collaboration with parents, caregivers, community, schools, professionals, therapist, and physicians will build skills needed to enhance children with disabilities ability to engage and prosper in society. We believe in building and establishing strong, respectable, and honest relationships to strengthen our connection to establishing community resources for our families. Support: We are committed to making ourselves available to the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of those affected by disabilities.
